Second: (i) Essay (What is Art in Creative Multimedia)
Art. What is Art? There is no universally accepted definition of art. Although commonly used to describe something of beauty or a skill which produces an aesthetic result, there is no clear line in principle between a unique piece of handmade sculpture, and a mass-produced but visually attractive item. But what is art in Creative Multimedia?
Art in Creative Multimedia is a type of knowledge. Every artist was first an amateur. They started with empty paper and started to write their own autobiography. They learned from others, they work-hard, they practiced to gain the knowledge of Art. Some of them travel around the world to learn from others to collect different types of knowledge and experiences. Final artwork success or failure is not that important. The most important part is what you have gained during the process. Art can also learn from our daily life, perhaps art is imitation of life. After the years of practicing, learning, traveling, what we achieve is only the surface of art.
As Eager Degas says: “Painting is easy when you don't know how, but very difficult when you do.” When you started apply that knowledge into your art, you will find it difficultly because those are not your ideas. You need to put yourself into your art to produce a good artwork. Art is alive, art needs vitality to be great. Therefore, art is creative, art need creativity. A creative art will attract the attention of audience, they may bring negative review but letting people discover your artwork is important than anything else. The world of a creative artist is unlimited, their world is built by invent, innovate and novelty. Creativity came from everywhere, it may from the sky, it may from the earth, and it may from a dream. You will not find creativity but creativity finds you. However, creativity strike as fast as lightning, remember to catch it before it is too late. Creativity is fun, so as art, without art, the crudeness of reality would make the world unbearable. That is why fun artwork can bring you more audience than a dull artwork. In art, we should not have models and rules because it will kill your art, remember to make your world without end. Art is the combination of flair and passion. Everyone is gifted to be an artist but a good or a bad artist is decided by you. We cannot lose our passion as an artist. An artwork produce without passion will like a body without spirit and soul, it is empty.
Imagination, which is the most basic theory for creative, even though in creative art. Everyone can have a fantasy imagination, but first of all you need to do is to implement it. You may sketch it on a paper or whatever thing you have. Doodling is the brooding of the mind. If you cannot do that, no matter how wonderful your idea is, it is useless, so you must dare to try but not scare to fail. In order to have a fantastic imagination, you must think it with opened mind. Always think it outside the box which named as common sense! “The world is but a canvas to the imagination.” said by Henry David Thoreau. For while knowledge defines all us currently know and understand imagination points to all we might yet discover and create. Therefore, try to see a thing from different angle, you will get a new viewing of ideas. A creative art always inspired from the object that already have. Besides, thinking open mind does not mean that we can do it simply. Your design must be simple but not simply, simple but make sure people can understand it.
Moreover, art in Creative Multimedia is also priceless. It shows the unique of a designer with different cultures. Nobody in this world can have the same design unless they copy. A creative art can also lead the trend, it is all depended on your way of thinking. By the way, inspiration might also come from other’s idea but does not mean that you can copy. Sometimes, your idea may not be accepted by other people because it looks crazy because every really new idea looks crazy at the first. Dare to try but not to scare. So, don’t just give it up but give it a try. The most famous inventor, Thomas Edison also mentioned that “Genius is 1 inspiration and 99 Perspiration.”
Furthermore, creative art is belonged to personal by a human. People can see the characteristic of a designer through his artwork. Else, your experience also helps you in design. So, we need to listen more and look more about this world to gain more experiences, you can have a new finding to be creative. In order to get a fantastic artwork, you need to be persistence all the time. A lot of people have just left his work in the half way because of facing problem or any small matter that need some time to solve it. They never know that persistence is the hardest part to maintain until the end after you are tired of doing the hard work you already did or maybe they knew but lack of effort. Whether you believe you can, or whether you believe you can't, you're absolutely right. Trust on yourself is needed in art.

Creative arts is the term used to describe different types of art. While Art in Creative Multimedia needs smart knowledge, crazy imagination and creative ideas to be done. But it depends on the personality of designer to complete a priceless Art in Creative Multimedia.
